Spire Storage West comprises two underground natural gas storage fields (Clear Creek Field and Belle Butte Field) near Evanston, Wyoming, including a 29.5-mile pipeline. Owned by Spire Storage, Inc. (Spire, Inc.) and operated by Spire Storage West, LLC, it has a storage capacity of 35 Bcf and primarily serves the utility/power sectors. Key customers include Kern River Gas Transmission, Ruby Pipeline, and MountainWest Pipeline. Spire’s facility provides open-access storage, hourly balancing, parking, wheeling, and loaning services.
