High Island Offshore System (HIOS) is a small 287-mile pipeline system running from gas fields located in the Galveston, Garden Banks, West Cameron, and East Breaks areas of the Gulf of Mexico to a junction platform in West Cameron Block 167. Owned by Genesis Energy, LP, and operated by High Island Offshore System, LLC, HIOS operates at the lowest utilization, primarily serving producers and marketers sectors. Notable customers include Kinetica Energy Express Pipeline and the Hoover-Diana deepwater platform.
